Specialist training
Train to treat the patients no one else can.
CleftInject™ training helps experienced aesthetic practitioners assess and treat adults born with cleft lip using anatomy-specific techniques, scar considerations, and tailored treatment planning not covered in standard lip filler training.

Standard aesthetics training leaves a real gap.
Most aesthetic practitioners are trained on lips with typical anatomy. Cleft lip anatomy is different — scar tissue, asymmetry, previous surgery, structure, and tissue behaviour all change how treatment should be assessed and planned.
For many adults born with cleft lip, that gap means they are turned away, treated like a standard lip filler patient, or left unsure whether anyone near them understands what they need.
CleftInject™ was created to change that: by training already-qualified practitioners in cleft-specific assessment, treatment planning, and injection techniques, then connecting patients with verified specialists through the CleftInject™ directory.

This is not standard lip filler with different wording.
Cleft lip treatment requires a different way of thinking. The aim is not simply to add volume. It is to assess the individual patient’s anatomy, understand how previous surgery and scarring affect the lip, and create a plan focused on structure, symmetry, contour, and balance.
CleftInject™ training gives practitioners a framework for treating adults with repaired unilateral or bilateral cleft lip — with realistic expectations, appropriate technique, and a patient experience that feels considered from the first consultation.
Cleft lips are not usually covered in standard aesthetic training — and the technique can be the opposite of what practitioners are taught on a typical filler course.
What the CleftInject™ training covers.
The programme builds on your existing filler experience and focuses on the specialist knowledge needed to treat cleft lip patients appropriately.
Cleft lip anatomy
Understand how repaired cleft lip anatomy differs from standard lip anatomy, including asymmetry, tissue structure, and previous surgical changes.
Scar tissue considerations
Learn how scar tissue can affect assessment, placement, settling, and patient expectations.
Cleft-specific treatment planning
Assess each patient individually and plan treatment around their anatomy, history, goals, and likely treatment journey.
Injection approach and product choice
Learn how the CleftInject™ approach uses structure-focused filler placement to support shape, definition, and balance rather than simple volume.
Consultation and communication
Build confidence in explaining suitability, risks, recovery, staged treatment, aftercare, and realistic outcomes.
Case-based learning and practical application
Apply the principles through structured teaching, case discussion, and practical learning designed around cleft-specific treatment scenarios.
Designed for experienced injectors.
CleftInject™ training is for practitioners who already have a solid foundation in dermal filler treatment and want to develop a more specialist area of clinical practice.
The training builds on existing injector skill. It is not designed to teach beginner filler technique — it is designed to help competent practitioners treat a patient group that needs more specialist understanding.
You should typically have
- Existing dermal filler training and competence
- At least 12 months' lip filler injecting experience
- Appropriate insurance for aesthetic practice
- A willingness to work carefully with complex anatomy, realistic expectations, and staged treatment plans
